Welcome to the Victory Blog

It was an afternoon of fun, food, games and laughter for our Mercy Team members. Some played chess, others Uno, while another group of brave souls tried their voices at karaoke and dancing.

Pastor Bobby acknowledged each group represented by the Mercy Team and, on behalf of Pastors Dennis and Colleen, thanked them for their unwavering service to the community. The groups included Advance Plus Hospice, Nursing Home, Home Repair, Visitation, Seven Bridges, Norcross Co-op, Project Open Hand, Detention Center and Good Samaritan. Each group was well represented.

The Lord graced the day with partial clouds and a nice, cool breeze. This made for a time of fun at the adjacent playground for the youngest of the children. They played with abandon.

Pastor Bobby’s grilled burgers were superlicious, as was the grilled chicken, salads galore, fruit dishes and a boatload of desserts! There was something for everyone. Even ice cream for the kid in me! ~ Vivian L.
